November may feel like a long way off at this point, given how much our daily routines have been disrupted by the global COVID-19 pandemic. But, with no assurances that this crisis will resolve any time soon, we must begin planning to protect the legitimacy of our electoral process now.
It is all but guaranteed that elements of the Trump administration are already thinking about how to leverage a public health crisis to benefit the campaign.
